(ANSA) - ROME, 10 SET - The Italian cabinet on Thursday approved a new decree-law addressing high fuel prices, extending a 17 cent per litre cut in excise duties on diesel—which was otherwise set to expire at midnight—by one week. The measure will therefore remain in effect until Thursday, September 17. The measure was introduced to mitigate the effects of the Iran war in helping push fuel prices higher.
