Irish Health Service Pays Agency Workers Significantly More Than Permanent Staff
Agency workers hired by Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) to fill staffing gaps are reportedly earning almost a third more than full-time employees, with stand-in doctors paid up to €133 an hour while permanent positions remain unfilled.
