The chair of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Ireland has called it a 'scandal' that almost €7 million was spent storing electric buses because of a lack of charging infrastructure. An NTA spokesperson defended the decision, stating that delaying bus orders would have led to significantly higher costs.
