Investigation into Supervision of Abused Child Kamil's Family Closed

The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk has closed its investigation into whether institutions and officials were at fault in the case of eight-year-old Kamil from Częstochowa, who died in hospital after being beaten and burned.

Ośmioletni Kamil z Częstochowy został pobity i poparzony w swoim domu. Zmarł w szpitalu, w maju 2023 roku. Rodzice usłyszeli już wyroki, ale Prokuratura Regionalna w Gdańsku sprawdzała jeszcze, czy w sprawie mogły zawinić też instytucje i urzędnicy. Śledczy właśnie po raz drugi umorzyli to postępowanie.
