INEM Investigates Youth's Death and VMER Inoperability in Vila Real

Portugal's INEM is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a young person and the inoperability of the VMER (Emergency Medical Vehicle) in Vila Real. The victim was in cardiorespiratory arrest, prompting INEM to activate the local VMER, but the President of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Technicians Union reported frequent breakdowns.
