Indian Supreme Court Pressures Centre on UGC Rules and Food Labels
The Indian Supreme Court has warned the Centre to reconsider UGC equity rules, which it deemed vague and prone to misuse, and issued a "last chance" ultimatum to the FSSAI to implement front-of-pack warning labels for food products. The court threatened to issue its own directions if the government bodies fail to comply.
