Indian law enforcement dismantled a cross-border trafficking ring operating in Jammu and Kashmir, seizing 5.2 kilograms of heroin. Three suspects were arrested in connection with the Pakistan-linked operation.

5.2 kg heroin seized in Jammu, NCB busts Pakistan network; 3 held
“Preliminary investigation led NCB to another resident of Baramulla, the suspected mastermind. He was traced and arrested in Leh on Aug 24. The seized drug, suspected to have been smuggled from Pakistan, entered India through the Uri border sector,” the NCB official said. “The probe will identify cross-border suppliers, financial links, transporters, local associates, and the intended distribution network,” the spokesperson added.
