Starting September 1, Indian airports are discontinuing immigration clearance

From September 1, international travellers at Indian airports will experience a streamlined process for immigration clearance. The need for stamped boarding passes will be eliminated, allowing passengers to present either digital or printed passes. This change is designed to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times, as immigration officers will no longer stamp boarding passes during the departure process.
