SIP boom: Mutual fund investors and equity exposure soar over five years

Mutual fund SIP investments have seen significant growth over five years. The number of unique mutual fund investors increased substantially during this period. SIP assets under management more than tripled, reaching ₹14.83 lakh crore. Equity funds continue to dominate SIP investments, holding an 87% share. Other categories like hybrid and passive funds also experienced notable increases.
