India Revises FDI Rules for China Investments and Insurance Sector
The Indian government has notified significant changes to its Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy, including stricter scrutiny for investments originating from countries sharing a land border, particularly China. Additionally, the government has permitted 100% FDI in the insurance sector under the automatic route, though inflows for LIC are capped at 20%.
