Hungarian Constitutional Court Affirms News Portal's Right to Send Observers to Overseas Voting

Hungary's Constitutional Court ruled that a news portal has the right to send observers to foreign polling stations, overturning decisions by the National Election Commission and the Curia which had deemed the action an abuse of rights.

A Nemzeti Választási Bizottság és a Kúria is a joggal visszaélésnek minősítette, hogy a Millenia nevű híroldal saját megfigyelőket delegált olyan külföldi szavazókörökbe, ahová a Tisza Párt adminisztratív hiba miatt nem tudott saját embert küldeni. A taláros testület ebben a média javára döntött, az MTVA panaszát azonban visszautasította.
