Housing Law Moderates Rent Hikes in Barcelona but Reduces Supply
A new housing law has moderated rent increases in Barcelona to 5.7%, but it has also led to a reduction in housing availability. In contrast, Madrid, which does not apply the same regulation, saw a 3.9% increase in supply but an 8.5% rise in prices.
