Kopalnia „Wujek” w Katowicach po 127 latach funkcjonowania zakończyła swoją działalność. Symboliczna uroczystość z tej okazji, w której wzięli udział m.in. obecni i byli pracownicy, odbyła się 1 kwietnia. Tego dnia rozpoczął się również dla kopalni czteroletni okres przejściowy.
