Delhi and Gurgaon faced chaos on Friday due to heavy rainfall that led to extensive waterlogging and blocked roads across the National Capital Region. The Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway witnessed severe traffic congestion, with parts underwater. In light of the conditions, various businesses implemented remote work policies, and educational institutions declared holidays. The India Meteorological Department had also issued a red alert for the region, warning residents of potential hazards.
