Ghana's Health Minister has attributed the delay in opening the Weija Children’s Specialist Hospital to the contractor. The hospital is reportedly ready to open once the contractor completes the handover process.

The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has said the long-awaited opening of the 120-bed Children's Specialist Hospital at Weija has been delayed because the contractor has yet to officially hand over the completed facility to the Ministry of Health.
