Hantavirus Cruise Passengers May Return Home Early

Passengers from a cruise ship potentially exposed to hantavirus may be allowed to return home ahead of the full 42-day symptom period, as the highest risk period for the rodent-borne illness is considered to be 21 days. The situation is being monitored for the Ebola outbreak in Congo.
