Hanoi man loses arm to flesh-eating bacteria after infecting thumb

A 57-year-old man in Hanoi has had a third of his right arm amputated after contracting Vibrio vulnificus, a bacterium commonly known as "flesh-eating bacteria," doctors at Military Hospital 103 said.
