Global Food Prices Rise Due to War-Driven Fuel and Fertilizer Costs, FAO Reports

Global food commodity prices rose in March for the second consecutive month, driven by higher energy and fertilizer costs linked to the Near East conflict, according to the FAO. This comes as leaders from the World Bank, IMF, and World Food Program have warned that these increases will inevitably lead to higher food prices and reduced access to food worldwide.
