Ghana’s Minister-Designate Mandates Land Reclamation for Small-Scale Miners

Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Minister-designate Mahama Ayariga has stated that small-scale mining operations in Ghana will be legally required to restore and reclaim degraded lands following extraction activities to ensure environmental responsibility.
