A few days ago, I asked one of my uncles a simple but profound question: Is there any hope for Ghana to become better? His response was as uncertain as my own thoughts about our dear motherland Ghana. Yet recent events surrounding the suspension of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) provide an opportunity to reflect on one of Ghana's most persistent challenges: leadership accountability.
