AG challenges Appiah-Kubi’s bid to withdraw from Wontumi case

The Attorney-General has filed a preliminary legal objection at the High Court (Criminal Division) in Accra, seeking to block an application by defence lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi to withdraw from the ongoing criminal case involving Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, and others.
