Germany has officially completed and opened the Lusatian Lake District, Europe's largest artificial lake landscape, which was created from former lignite mines and aims to boost tourism.

V Německu je oficiálně dokončená a otevřená nová jezerní oblast. Takzvaná Lužická Jezerní krajina, která je největší svého druhu v Evropě, vznikla na pomezí Braniborska a Saska, a nahradila tak zdejší hnědouhelné doly. Na první pohled přitom připomíná i některé skandinávské končiny.
