French MPs Reject Low-Emission Zone Amendment

Low-emission zones: MPs reject compromise amendment and vote for their removal

The Assemblée Nationale on Tuesday chose to repeal a proposal to implement low-emission zones, the Sénat is likely to do the same on Wednesday. Socialist, Green and centrist MPs said they would refer the matter to the Constitutional Council.
