France Deploys Water Bombers to Tackle Massive Fontainebleau Forest Fire
Two Canadair water bomber planes have been deployed to combat an exceptionally large wildfire in the Fontainebleau forest, south of Seine-et-Marne, France, which has already burned nearly 1,000 hectares of forest. Western Europe is currently experiencing its third prolonged period of high temperatures this summer, contributing to the fire's intensity.
