Former Moravian Karst Head Warns Against UNESCO Status for Macocha Caves
The former head of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area, Leoš Štefka, argues that including the Punkevní and Kateřinská caves and the Macocha Abyss on the UNESCO list would be a risk, as they do not meet the standards of world-class karst uniques.
