Former IDF Navy chief says Israel struck Syria to prevent Turkish establishment

V.-Adm. (ret.) Eliezer Marom stated that Israel conducted strikes in Syria to prevent Turkey from establishing control in the country. He also warned that increasing US pressure could force Iran to choose between negotiations and escalation.
