Śnieżyce nawiedziły wschodnią część Stanów Zjednoczonych. W Nowym Jorku w ciągu zaledwie godziny dosypało ponad 5 centymetrów śniegu. Jak podały lokalne media, ponad 115 tysięcy odbiorców w kilku stanach straciło już dostęp do prądu, występują także poważne utrudnienia komunikacyjne.
