FCI Rice Boosts India's Government Ethanol Push
The supply of Food Corporation of India (FCI) rice to ethanol distilleries has significantly increased, rising from 3.2 million tonnes in ESY 2024-25 to 4.4 million tonnes in the current supply year up to June 30. This surge in rice supply is a key driver for the government's ethanol production initiatives.
