A real estate expert in Lithuania argues that insulating Soviet-era residential buildings is not economically beneficial, as the cost of such work is comparable to purchasing a new apartment.

„Žmonės gyvena sovietmečiu pastatytuose namuose, nes negali sau leisti įsigyti buto naujame projekte. Jei paskaičiuotume, kiek jie moka už šilumos izoliacijos darbus, ta suma būtų artima buto kainai naujame projekte“, — teigė interviu portale LSM Latvijos nekilnojamojo turto sandorių asociacijos valdybos pirmininkas nekilnojamuoju turtu Aigars Šmits.
