Če bi Hormuška ožina dlje časa ostala zaprta oziroma močno omejena, bi lahko evropska letalska industrija že proti koncu poletja zdrsnila v resne težave z oskrbo s kerozinom. V najslabšem scenariju bi bile do konca leta izčrpane tudi strateške rezerve letalskega goriva, opozarjajo v Avstriji.
