
EU Implements New Customs Duties on Low-Value Online Purchases from Third Countries
New EU customs legislation has come into effect, imposing a temporary customs duty of three euros per item, in addition to VAT, on online purchases from third countries valued under 150 euros. This change makes low-value online shopping from outside the EU more expensive.

V EU je začela veljati spremenjena carinska zakonodaja, po kateri se bo pri spletnem nakupu iz tretjih držav do vrednosti 150 evrov za vsako postavko blaga v pošiljki poleg DDV obračunala tudi začasna carinska dajatev v vrednosti treh evrov. Plačati je ne bo treba v primeru, da se blago ob naročilu že nahaja v Sloveniji ali drugi državi EU.
