Esther González and Gotham FC agree to part ways so she can attend to personal matters

Esther González and Gotham FC have agreed to mutually terminate her contract so the Spanish forward can focus on personal matters in Spain. Gonzalez, who won the 2023 Women's World Cup with Spain, was Gotham's leading scorer this season with six goals. The 33-year-old González also has a team-high 30 regular-season goals since joining Gotham in August 2023.
