Erdogan Ally Calls for Official Role for Öcalan in Kurdish Peace Process
Devlet Bahçeli, leader of Turkish nationalists and an ally of President Erdogan, stated that the imprisoned leader of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Abdullah Öcalan, should be given an official role to advance the slow peace process with the Kurds.
