Elevated Lead Levels Detected in Residents of Vareš, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Federal authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have begun investigating elevated lead levels found in the blood of some residents in Vareš, a known mining region in central Bosnia. The cause of the increased lead values remains unknown to the authorities.
