Electric Cars Account for Less Than 6% of Vehicles in Switzerland

Less than 6% of Swiss cars are fully electric

In Switzerland, an average of 5.5% of registered passenger cars are fully electric. This is shown by the latest data from the online platform Energie Reporter, as well as from Energie Schweiz and Geoimpact. There are significant differences between the cantons: the frontrunner is the canton of Zug, with 12% of its cars being electric – more than twice the Swiss average.
