(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 19 - A 72-year-old man was torn to death by two rottweilers in the Salento countryside in Puglia on Wednesday, local sources said.
The man, Giuseppe Pampo, from Leverano, died shortly after being mauled by the dogs.
The man had gone into the countryside to pick fruit.
His son and grandson, worried when he hadn't returned home for lunch, went looking for him and found him lifeless with the two dogs on top of him.
