Education Experts Urge Review of Disciplinary Policies Amid Rising Senior High School Violence in Ghana

The Institute for Educational Studies has called on Ghana’s Ministry of Education to first evaluate existing disciplinary frameworks before implementing new measures to address escalating violence in senior high schools.

The Ministry of Education should first assess the effectiveness of existing disciplinary policies in senior high schools before introducing new measures to tackle rising cases of indiscipline, Executive Director of the Institute for Education Studies (IFEST), Dr Peter Anti, has advised.
