Dutch Prosecutor Drops Case Against Wilders Over X Post

PVV leader Geert Wilders will not be prosecuted for an image he posted on X last August, as the Public Prosecution Service has dismissed the complaints due to insufficient grounds for prosecution.

PVV-leider Wilders wordt niet vervolgd voor een afbeelding die hij in augustus vorig jaar op X plaatste. Het Openbaar Ministerie heeft de aangiften geseponeerd die vanwege de afbeelding waren gedaan. Er zijn volgens het OM onvoldoende aanknopingspunten om te stellen dat de afbeelding een groep mensen beledigt of aanzet tot haat, discriminatie of geweld.
