Dutch Cabinet Rejects National Ban on Single-Use Plastics
The Dutch cabinet has stated it sees no benefit in implementing a national ban on single-use plastics, such as cigarette filters and disposable vapes. Additionally, a deposit scheme for squeeze pouches for drinks, soap, or detergent will not be introduced for now, citing too many legal obstacles.
