Devastating Earthquakes Hit Venezuela, Emergency Declared
Two powerful earthquakes, measuring magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5, struck Venezuela within minutes of each other, causing at least 164 deaths and nearly a thousand injuries. An emergency has been declared, with Caracas and areas north and west of the capital being the hardest hit, further testing a country already grappling with a severe economic crisis.
