Petr Ošlejšek, the deputy director, will temporarily replace Vladimír Vlčka, the outgoing Director General of the Czech Fire and Rescue Service (HZS), who is leaving his position.

Odcházejícího generálního ředitele Hasičského záchranného sboru ČR (HZS) Vladimíra Vlčka bude zastupovat náměstek Petr Ošlejšek. Hasiči to v pondělí uvedli na sociální síti X. Na místo šéfa hasičů vyhlásil ministr vnitra Lubomír Metnar (ANO) na počátku měsíce výběrové řízení. Nový generální ředitel by podle ministerstva měl začít vést hasiče od začátku září. Funkční období je pětileté.
