Deputy Chancellor of Justice: Wrong Police Officers Decided Preliminary Investigations in Finland
Finland's Deputy Chancellor of Justice has stated that incorrect police officers made decisions on preliminary investigations in the Ostrobothnia and Helsinki police departments. The National Police Board is proposing changes to the information system to ensure only investigation leaders can make such decisions.
