Danish Government Reaffirms Abolition of Store Bededag Holiday
The Danish government, comprising SVM and the Social Liberals, has reiterated its decision that Store Bededag (Great Prayer Day) will not be reinstated as a public holiday. The holiday was abolished in 2023.
