Danish Economists Propose Alternatives to Food VAT Reduction

Leading Danish economists have put forward alternative suggestions to a reduction in VAT on food. These include a permanent decrease in electricity taxes or the implementation of an additional deduction for employment. The Economic Council of the Labour Movement has quantified the potential financial advantages of these proposals.
