D49 Highway Section Unexpectedly Opens in Czech Republic

A new seven-kilometer section of the D49 highway between Holešov and Fryšták in the Zlín region of the Czech Republic opened unexpectedly, days ahead of schedule, despite an ongoing lawsuit.

Ve středu krátce po poledni se pro řidiče otevřel úsek nové dálnice D49 mezi Holešovem a Fryštákem. Ředitelství silnic a dálnic České republiky přitom plánovalo slavnostní zahájení provozu na sobotu. Informaci o otevření dálnice potvrdil generální ředitel ŘSD Radek Mátl na síti X.
