Czech Supreme Court rules hospital not liable for patient's death by another patient
The Czech Supreme Court dismissed an appeal from a man whose father was fatally shot by another patient in a Prague hospital in 2019. The court ruled that the hospital was not responsible for the non-pecuniary damage to the bereaved, finding no direct link between the medical staff's actions and the death.
