The Czech Republic is commemorating the 115th anniversary of Jan Kašpar's pioneering long-distance flight, which was the first of its kind in the Czech lands and the longest in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy at the time.

Od slavného letu Jana Kašpara uplynulo 115 let. Jako první v českých zemích uskutečnil dálkový let

Na den přesně před 115 lety se po šesté hodině ráno vznesl pilot Jan Kašpar se svým letounem do vzduchu. Podnikl první dálkový let v českých zemích a taky dosud nejdelší let v tehdejší Rakousko-Uherské monarchii. Urazil úctyhodných 120 kilometrů z Pardubic až do Prahy.
