Czech Police Identify Perpetrator of 2007 Attempted Murder, Case is Time-Barred

Detectives from the special Tempus team have solved a nearly 20-year-old attempted murder case from a gas station in Hrádek nad Nisou in 2007, identifying the perpetrator who brutally attacked and seriously injured the station operator's husband, though the crime is now time-barred.

Kriminalisté ze speciálního týmu Tempus objasnili téměř 20 let starý případ pokusu o vraždu na čerpací stanici v Hrádku nad Nisou na Liberecku. Vypátrali pachatele, který v září 2007 brutálně napadl a vážně zranil muže provozovatelky stanice. Trestní stíhání ale nemohli zahájit a případ odložili, protože už je promlčený, sdělil mluvčí policejního prezidia Jakub Vinčálek.
