Rescue services in the Moravian-Silesian Region report a sharp increase in calls requiring assistance from firefighters to safely lift and transport severely obese patients.

Moravskoslezští záchranáři během zásahů čím dál častěji volají na pomoc hasiče. V roce 2024 vyjeli hasiči v takových případech více než 900 krát, loni už počet výjezdů přesáhl tisícovku. „Obézních pacientů přibývá ve velkém. Dnes už se běžně stává, že i během jediné směny voláme hasiče na pomoc dvakrát,“ uvádí mluvčí moravskoslezských záchranářů.
