Czech Lawmakers Propose Mandatory Language and Geography Exams for Taxi Drivers

Two proposed amendments to the road traffic law would allow municipalities to require taxi operators working within their boundaries to pass official tests in Czech language and local geography.

Obce by mohly rozhodovat o tom, zda řidiči taxi, kteří jezdí v jejich katastru, musí mít zkoušky z českého jazyka a místopisu. Navrhují to dva pozměňovací návrhy k novele zákona o silničním provozu, který je ve Sněmovně před třetím čtením.
